Well, the trip to Jonesboro went well with the client choosing a concept, which is all I could ask for. The guy i travelled with had some lovely things to say about me in an email this morning:

Heather – I truly enjoyed visiting with you during our trip to and from Jonesboro. The work you did is outstanding. Really, really good. I appreciate you and your wonderful talent.

I forwarded it to my boss with the subject line “i’m LOVED!” and he replied with an even nicer email! Now i really feel loved…

Yes, you are loved! Thanks for your efforts last week. I could not have imagined getting all that out without your help.
It is a huge relief to me to have someone I can count on to produce great, thoughtful work with minimal guidance. That speaks volumes about what we can accomplish together.

the new job really is turning out to be WONDERFUL. i mean, who can’t do without a little praise every now and then?

tomorrow it’s off to Blytheville, AR to talk to their Chamber of Commerce about developing a logo/identity for the town. yippeeeee – 3 hour drive there, and 3 hour drive back! i’m bringing josh’s gameboy sp -fo sho!
