Last night Josh and I went to Brave New Restaurant, which was lovely. I had a pork tenderoin that had this awesome mustard sauce on it, with potatoes, broccoli and carrots. In honor of my joyous occasion, Josh got a $30!! steak. (There were leftovers so it fed us another meal, thank goodness). We also had some chocolate creme brulee, which of course, hit the spot nicely.

After that we went to the Rep and saw My Fair Lady. It was great and Josh especially loved it. Every time i looked over at him, he had this huge smile on his face, like the boy had never seen live theatre (well- maybe Harding theatre doesn’t count? No offense anyone…). I was tired at the end, but over all it was a nice birthday ‘date.’

My parents got me a few more pieces of my Denby dinnerware, and Josh also got me flowers at work and a Baskin Robbins ice cream cake (yum!).
