The end of November will be Josh’s and my 2nd anniversary. (is that right? josh’s and my? i usually avoid the pairing) We’re headed to Jasper, Arkansas (whoo hoo) for a two night stay at a cabin that you can see here. I hope to get some hiking in, and of course grillin on the BBQ. and sleep. LOTS of sleep. :)

Work is going well. I”m working on a couple of logos and a couple of annual reports. I went to an Ad Fed lunch meeting yesterday at the 30th floor of the Regions building to hear the former design director for Starbucks speak. I didn’t get much work done yesterday b/c I was surfing the whole day and came across a freaking awesome thing you can see here, but only if you’re on a high speed connection.

I also saw a music video here that looks strikingly like a Sifl & Olly Show in its production nature. Scary.

I”ll sign off with the latest news in Arkansasland: (Debbie Downer style to begin)
1. Dustin & Charlie Allen’s grandmother passed away about a week ago. They’re doing ok, but I think Charlie had a difficult time b/c he hadn’t been to a visitation before.
2. Matt O. told me that the teenage son of Trent (the former Grad dorm manager) is in critical condition at a texarkana hospital after an ATV accident that killed his girlfriend. he is supposed to be released to UAMS after the funeral which I believe is today.
3. Jomo finished his internship at Dempsey and is now moving into an apartment with 2 other guys from church. He’s still working at Starbucks and looking for a fulltime design job. Keep him in your prayers.
4. Josh and I spent over 5 hours in front of the TV last night feeling nauseas, because the Red Sox were so close to losing it all. Thank God for David Ortiz.
