Sufficiently Conquered (btwn Josh and myself since we arrived):
4 two-inch-thick pork tenderloins
immeasurable amounts of ham
1 piece of 3-inch-thick cheese cake
3 pieces of chocolate mousse pie (guess who that was -YUM!!)
2 bowls of chicken teriyaki from Tokyo Express (now called East Wind)
immeasurable amounts of stuffing, salad, green bean casserole, fruit salad, banana bread, rolls, cheesy broccoli & rice, sparkling cider, and corbel champagne.
1 christmas eve service
1 viewing of The Life Aquatic
random viewings of the following on DVD/cable: The Bourne Supremacy, Miracle on 34th St (b&w), Double Jeopardy (hey, sometimes you want fluff, right?), The West Wing, etc.
tons of great presents, including: an ipod, my japanese chef’s knife!! (a wustof, no less), a serrated bread knife, a king size down comforter, a microsuede throw, a clock, sweaters, shoes, jewelry, perfume, a dual cordless phone/ans. mach set, boxed seasons of aqua teenage hunger force, sealab 2021, Final Fantasy Tactics for game boy, and Jon Stewart’s America (The Book), among many other lovely gifts! (whew - those in-laws were worth the long trip!).
