I Made Him A Strawberry Cake With White Icing And Hearts On Top

Twenty-six years ago today, a macaroni-loving baby boy was born who would become my best friend.

For the last two-and-a-half years he has:

-held me and cried with me when I was upset and hated my job
-gone out (infinite times) to get food when I had the low-blood-sugar-grumpies
-made dinner for me when I was too wiped out to cook
-gone to the grocery store because I HATE HATE HATE grocery stores (esp. Walmart) on Saturdays
-recorded my favorite tv show when I forgot to
-endured the horrificly cruel reality shows that make me laugh
-taken me to fluff movies i wanted to see (out of boredom!!) but he didn’t (i will regret the princess diaries forever)
-put up with my ghetto-booty radio music in the car
-made sure we had “us” time when on trips to visit family
-given me very thoughtful and meaningful presents
-and has supported and encouraged me in everything I do (including all those crafts i start and don’t finish)

Josh, I love you! I don’t care if you force me to watch Star Wars 300 million* more times, I’ll endure it if you’re there with me.
Happy Birthday, Sweetie!
Love,
Heather

*please please please not 300 million. i’m exaggerating. how about twenty?
