So sorry I haven’t written in a while. I know a lot is going on in my life and you want to be updated (you do, don’t you?), but I’m doing my best.

Quick update since my last post:

I got my glasses redone, and they’re cool.

Josh and I went to Dallas last weekend and visited several references and I had two interviews. The people at both are nice, but I liked the second one better of the two. The first place I’m afraid would treat me too much like a kid, and their work isn’t that great either.

That said, I don’t want to eliminate any options yet, so I’m at work on a Friday night, and probably will be until midnight, working on a SIX stinking part “trial” project to make sure I know what I said I know. For a job I don’t really want in the first place. I’m crazy.

I’m also working on a freelance logo for the 2nd interview place, who is paying me (sweet). I hope it turns into something more, but we’ll see.

Simulaneously I also took several hours off work today (the office is the only place in my life right now that isn’t crazy busy) to go home and clean house. My friend might be able to take over our lease and I wanted to show her the place. Josh did some cleaning, but managed to waste a good bit of the afternoon by putting some animated star wars thing in the dvd player and slacking off. It worked out ok, though, because I came home early since I had a feeling that would happen.

Andrea and her soon to be fiance liked the place and will probably move in when we’re out.

I have another promising option with another design firm who emailed me back. I hope to get an interview soon.

We’re driving out this weekend to look at a couple specific properties. There’s one we’re in love with and I hope we can get it.
