And it begins

I left this morning at 8:30am for work, with Josh packing for his trip. He gets on the bus at 11am to head towards the airport where a chartered plane will carry him, his co-workers and the team to CA. The next time I'll see him will be the end of August...

some things just shouldn’t be eaten

It was kind of freaky, having a half-eaten little boy face looking up at me from the trash can, but this cookie was one of THE worst things I've ever tasted. It was seriously, half an inch thick and appeared to be peanut butter ...

He'll be gone a month, but it seems like he's already been gone in some way, because he's been working so much lately. I'm a pro at whiling hours away, so I'm not worried about having nothing to do... it's the companionship I'll really miss. Even when I'm reading a book and ...

I was doing some perusing of RSS aggregators and it came to me -- the benefit of using an aggregator to check your feeds is obvious: it's push vs. pull technology. I don't have to go to each site in my links bar and see if it's been updated. The aggregator does that for me. What I miss, though, is the person's site design. When I ...

Something Pretty For My Walls

I suggested to Susan at Visual Voice that she start selling prints of an image she took at an acupuncturist's office. The pretty bottle is one of my favorite photos on her site, and I'm ecstatic about having it hang where I can see it every day!
