Weird Coincidences

A tree in our front yard decided to break in half and fall on our neighbor's truck. Then Jomo called and said a big branch landed on his car in Arkansas! All this due to winds left over from Rita.

Father, you were mistaken

For years my dad has maintained that Dr. Pepper is sickening because "they put prune juice in that junk!" I thought maybe he was talking about some old version of the drink but as it turns out, he was wrong: Contrary to a popular urban legend, Dr Pepper does not and never has contained prune juice.

Almost choked on my pizza when
