Here’s an update on the job situation.

I had my interview with Art Squad and it went well. Brandon had mentioned to me that you take a Quark test, and I could have guessed it would be Quark 4… but I didn’t guess it would be in OS9 or 8 or some ancient operating system that has long left my brain. However, I completed the test just fine and I think there were only two little things (auto page numbering?) I forgot which were mostly due to me having used InDesign for the last two years.

My interviewer said it would take a week to finish the paperwork, but she called me the next day to see if it was ok to send my work to a prospective client, so it looks promising.

In the meantime I’m doing a brochure for a guy who seems really cool. More projects could come from the gig if he likes my work. And that’s happy, isn’t it?
