Yay for Babies
I found out an old friend from college is expecting a little one. So I thought I’d do my part to add to the name pool, by searching through none other than Josh’s myriad of fantasy novels. (Unfortunately, most of the names in these books tend to be male.)
For a girl:
Jojanna
Shadea
Khyber
Cinnaminson
Carline
Marna
For a boy:
Alenburga
Flynn
Kaspar
Kenner
Jorgen
McGoin
Milton
Leso
Sagrin
Bek
Pen
Kermadec
Achen
Penderrin
Tagwen
Borric
Weylin
Udell
Kulgan
Dolgan
Calin
Tomas
Fantus
Roland
Arutha
Fannon
The names above were taken from:
Exile’s Return, by Raymond E. Feist
Magician: Apprentice (volume 1), also by Raymond E. Feist
High Druid of Shannara Tanequil, by Terry Brooks
And no, I haven’t read them. And no, I probably won’t. Now hand me that Nicholas Sparks novel, will you?
Oh, and congratulations, Karise!

Thank you thank you thank you! No one else has taken my plea for baby names seriously. (There’s a tear in my eye, but then I’m prego everything makes me cry.) My husband wants to name our child after mountains and trails like “Katadin” and “Graylocke.” (Uggh). It’s going to be a long and sorted battle until B-day in July.

I thought Cinnaminson was the funniest! Can you imagine! I’m sure you’ll come up with something that fits… When do you find out if it’s a boy/girl?
