Yes, I am indeed sweating through winter here in Texas, for yesterday it was a mere 85 degrees. Everyone tells me it’s unusual to be this warm, but then today was a bit colder—enough so to wear my coat for, oh, the second time this season. I need the cold to come! I want to break out the electric blanket and get the Christmas tree and be drinking hot cocoa while listening to Burl Ives Christmas songs.

Actually, I’m already drinking hot cocoa and listening to Christmas music, anyway. It’s like my own personal rebellion for not getting anything of an autumn whatsoever.
