THIS POST, the words you’re reading at this very moment, is the first ever from my new macbook!! I got it surprisingly early, via fedex this morning before noon, when the tracking info had it coming in a week from tomorrow! So far, I love it despite the huge amount of heat it outputs, which is apparently normal (says Apple). They even go as far as to say not to put it on your lap lest you get burned!! So I guess all I need now is a hot pad the size of my lap (cue all you knitters out there).

And for the blah news: I found out this morning that after our landlord asked us to sign a six month lease for slightly more money per month, she reneged on the deal due to the realtor saying we have to discuss leases with the new potential buyer. At this moment it feels like I have zero legal recourse, which isn’t so fun. I imagine the new owner will want to raise the rent more than our own landlord wanted to, plus I’m wondering what happens to the remainder of this months rent if the sale goes through mid-month? What about my deposit? Are there laws for this stuff? Moving is honestly the last thing I’m interested in doing at the moment. But then, putting several thousand dollars into higher rent over my downpayment fund doesn’t sound so appealing either.

If only we didn’t have so much STUFF!
