Complete Randomness: A List
1. I am super mad at Apple (the company, not my cat) for releasing new nanos freaking DAYS after I bought my sister one for her birthday. Talk about getting jipped!
2. I totally heard the phrase “guided Starbucks tastings” on the radio today. People at the Dallas Museum of Modern Art are getting pretty hoity toity* with the events, no?
3. I also just saw a snippet of a commercial on TV advertising a product called “Bottom Butter.” I’m thinking this was a cocoa butter lotion for infants, but still. Not as clever as it sounded at the ad agency.
4. I spent part of the afternoon at work listening to a recitation podcast of Ralph Waldo Emerson essays. How hoity toity** am I?
*This may be the first time I have ever used this term legitimately in a sentence.

I came upon your blog due to a search for livejournal vs. blogger. LOL. I just wanted to say that your post about that helped in determining which one I would choose–I was running a tally. LOL. Thanks! :o)

If you’re not a spammer (and I don’t see any links to spam in your vicinity), you should know that the post you’re talking about is pretty ancient in blog years. I was writing that post from LJ, and I later transferred my blog to a private server running Word Press, which I find to be the best medium I’ve used so far. I would still choose blogger over LJ, but both services have upgraded with new features since I compared them in 2005. Good luck.
