forget what you know…

I sent a package to a friend, who comments as ‘Graypawn’ on this site. Upon receiving said package (full of cd mixes), He sends the following text: “I have the child!”
That sent me back a little bit. Back to Harding Grad dorm, renting movies and wasting time. Seconds before General Kael screamed those words, I did my best to scream them first…you know how after you’ve seen a movie 2 billion times, but now you’re watching it with friends who’ve all seen it too - you not only quote the movie but try to one-up everybody by quoting before the actual quotes take place. That totally proves that you aren’t playing around. I know my Willow. Step off George.
But Graypawn may have me beat for the moment…
gp: I have the child!
me: MADmartigan!
gp: Willow, you iiiidiot!
me: Mother!
gp: Hateful child, i must dispise(sic) you now!
me: Do you see what he did? He stole our blackroot!
gp: Who’s to blaaame for this?
me…I think I gave up at this point, I was about to sit down for some poker, but gp didn’t give up yet -
gp: Gnite…I stole a baby!
I called up Jomo to see what his thoughts on the matter were. We both concluded that even though being a little person (midget), that one black dude was a badass. Jomo reminded me “he’s the best warrior in the village.” I agreed. “Wasn’t Sorsha freakin hot? What happened to her?” Jomo explained that he saw her on Navy Seals on TV the other day, and she was an “expert in middle east relations”. Kind of like when Denise Richards played a nuclear physicist named ‘Christmas Jones’ in one of the recent POS bond movies. I asked Joe if he had any quotes to share - “peck peck peck peck peck peck PECK!” - and then he informed me that Kevin Pollack played one of the brownies.
My head exploded.
Feel free to share your Willow quotes.

First off, I would like to say I have NO idea what you are talking about in this post. (Memory I was not a part of) And Second…I could have sworn that was a picture of Merry.

It does look like Merry in his Rohan gear, you’re right. Willow came out in 1988 and it’s basically a homeless man’s Lord of the Rings. I can remember being a kid in the theater and seeing a preview for it, and being momentarily excited cuz I thought I was seeing real hobbits. But no, I’d have to wait another 13 years for that…
