And the actual retail price is…
Do we really need a down-payment for a house??
Edit - This isn’t my auction…at the time I posted this the bidding was around the same amount HJ and I are targeting for a down-payment on a house. The down-payment thing was just a joke as I was just poking fun at Heather, since the last thing on Earth she would ever want to spend that much money on would be the entire NES catalog (even though it has Crystalis)
It looks now that the auction has become a complete joke. As of 1/30 around 3pm it was going for 200k. And there’s 3 days left.
hm….
Imagine going to a bank and asking for 200k , but it’s for the entire NES catalog.

We saved up 20%, but when I got the paper yesterday that said we paid over $6,000 in interest last year, I kind of wondered why.
The house 3 houses down from us just went on the market. fyi.

The problem is having an NES that actually fricking works! But then again, you have a top-loader, so I guess you’re better than the rest of us novice players.
Wasn’t that you who posted the video of you beating Mario 3 in only a few minutes? Goddamn you’re a genius.

You’re talking about this. And that definitely wasn’t me. Probably some cheater asian kid (the comments are hilarious).
I don’t think I ever even beat that game, let alone in eleven minutes!

Crystalis was the only game that upon it’s completion I got out Mom’s 35mm and took photos of the ending screens. EPIC.
