Vista Cop = Yummy

Aside from my strange attraction to men in uniform, this new Mac/PC commercial about Windows Vista’s security is so funny that Josh and I giggle like school kids every time we see it.

I think the reason these ads work is due to the fact that they are defining the competition (Microsoft) before the competition has a chance to define itself. From my experience, this strategy, be it in law or advertising, is usually pretty successful.

We LOVE these commercials too. Nathan taped it so he could watch it over again. Ok, now that you think we’re really weird……

I was actually wondering about WordPress. Is that what you used to build this blog? If so, or even if not: opinions and feeback on it? I’d like to use it to build a whole new site and get rid of all the ones I have now. I would use it for a flash photography portfolio and also a personal blog. I’d appreciate any feedback you’ve got!

That’s perfect in every way, I remember reading that Gates tried to respond to the commercials by highlighting all the benefits of Vista and he just sounded like a kid on the schoolyard saying, “I know you are but what am I.” He also doesn’t like the actor playing PC, what a giant douche.

Did anyone see Gates on the daily show? I think this will be Gates last big public push. No charisma. I loved at the end of the show he ran off set. Weird.
