Unlike Any Other, John-Boy!
Loving it that John-Boy of The Waltons* is the voice over for Mercedes-Benz. Now every time I see a Benz I’m going to imagine it with a big mole on one side.
*You won’t believe it, but I’m completely familiar with The Lawrence Welk Show, too! How is this possible when I was born in 1980??

Why must you make our disagreements public? Do you think my comment deficit is THAT bad? For the last time, you said “Tiny Bubbles” which is a Don Ho song. I wasn’t aware that “The Lawrence Welk Theme” originally had the word bubbles in the title (but still, it wasn’t called “Bubbles”! “Bubbles” wasn’t in the lyrics they sang on the show at all! Anyway, I can out-Welk you anytime. BRING IT.

I grew up on The Waltons, too, which is a show my mom loved and I grew to like. I think she thought our household of seven people mirrored the Waltons’ household in many ways…
