We are moving! Our landlord is a douche! We want out! We want to buy a house but on the chance encounter that I find a job outside the Dallas market, we have decided to keep on renting. But not from our current landlord, who thinks it’s totally fine to raise the rent over 30%. I say fine, do that. I’m tired of your Madonna and Enya lovin - listen to the TV at obscene volumes - punch on your speedbag at midnight ass anyways.

As Heather mentioned earlier, now we are consolidating our stuff.

Goodbye living room.

Goodbye books.

KK wants to leave too I guess?

Goodbye Wheaties box with 2-time MVP Steve Nash.

I got rid of a bunch of cd jewel cases.

As you can see, the stacks are lighter. Still, I had to keep a few more…

I’ve resolved myself to only keep cases in which I really like the music.

This stuff has been in my drawer for two years.

Why do I still have these?

I’m going to have to figure something out here…

Goodbye second floor duplex.

And now Apple wants to leave, too.

  1. Word on the street is that Carrollton is a cool place to live.

(sorry for the upheaval…but as always, I try to use it for my advantage)

  2. We’re moving too. To Ohio. I must love my husband very much (he’s been given a job down there). And this is how much the MI economy sucks right now - over 1 year looking in MI and not even 1 interview for him. One week looking outside the Great Lakes state and we had choices of places to move to.

  3. Cats are so funny.

When are you moving? Do you need help? I like moving. Mostly packing. I’m an excellent packer.

Carrollton sucks. Plano all the way.

    I need sleep.

  4. We like houses in both Carrollton and Plano. But for renting purposes we just love the stuff around us right now (even with the commute).

Kirsten! The exodus! Congrats to you guys, I know your husband’s been looking.

  5. cool pictures, love the college english book!

  6. p.s. nothing says “cool” like “The Colony!”

  7. Yeah that english book - I think the Harding Bookstore had a no tolerance policy on that one - they would not, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, buy that book back.

    Thanks HUB!

  8. Goodbye dumb landlord who doesn’t know how to put up a “For Rent” sign!! Geez.

Oh, anyone want the christmas tree shown in last photo? I have no room for it, only used once, clear pre-lit 7.5 ft! $100, originally twice that.
