The move date is swiftly approaching and I decided that after everything is in stone is the best time to make a pro/con list. Not that smart, but what can I say? Moving takes something out of you. I guess it’s common sense.

Pros of Moving to Richardson:
•Closer to Brandon & Rozie
•No more Madonna, punching bag at midnight, or strange groans from the landlord’s unit
•No shared walls with anyone but the cats
•Closer to LBJ and a 15 minute cut in commute time (at least) for Josh
•Storage space in the form of a garage rather than an attic infested with squirrels who steal your packing peanuts.
•No more construction noise every. single. morning. including. holidays. and. weekends.
•Nice, big backyard
•3 bedrooms instead of 2
•1.5 baths instead of 2 (I don’t like cleaning tubs)

Cons of Moving to Richardson:
•We have to mow and care for landscaping
•HUGE backyard!!
•Large hive of bees in a tree by the driveway (supposedly Landlord is taking care of this)
•At last viewing, house was nasty, nasty dirty. I keep telling myself it’s like a dorm room… with your stuff it will feel like home.
•We have to buy a washer/dryer (how much are yours, biscuit king?)
•Neighbor parks their multi-colored beater in front of the house.
•Has scary half bath that is styled for a 70 year old man.
•Closer to Brandon and Rozie (just kidding!!)
