In the House – In a Heartbeat is from 28 weeks later (and 28 days later). I had forgotten about it but remembered when Begbie runs from all the rage infected Brittons at the beginning of 28 weeks. This is also used in the new Beowulf trailers.

I listened to 23 on the way home from seeing Lebron put up 48 against the Pistons.

Holiday In Cambodia makes me wish that there were political songs this good for my generation’s Vietnam.

JoMo bought me The Whitest Boy Alive, describing it as a kinda Paul Simon album.

Paul Rudd wears a Rain Dogs t-shirt in Knocked Up.

Johnny Appleseed is sung by Joe Strummer (of The Clash fame). The song is used for the opening credits on John From Cincinnatti, which I’m not sure I like (but love the song and the open).

Spoon is always solid.

Dustin burned me The Apples in Stereo, of which Elijah Wood is also a big fan of. Also, the guitarist with the glasses played on Colbert once.

The Pipettes will be big, then too big, then hated.

I don’t know if I like Of Montreal that much…but it is kinda addictive.

Lover’s Spit is featured heavily in the film Half Nelson. It’s that perfect kind of rainy sad wistful song.

I Am John is still my favorite song of the year.
