Hanging On For Dear Life
Sometime later this week, the Moore household will have broadband internet again. It feels as though we flatlined, and for three weeks the doctors have been taking every heroic measure — chest compressions, shots of epi and whatever else they use on E.R — to revive us. I’m hoping before Wednesday, the heartbeat shall return. And maybe, just maybe, we’ll have the opportunity to update our silly blog more often than during the five minutes that the neighbor’s wifi is functioning.
One of us (the prettier one) has been in the cold, dark place of having neither internet or a cell phone charger. This means I have mostly been difficult to get in touch with and non-responsive to email. Sorry bout that. It’s just… there wasn’t much I could do about it besides try to remember to charge my phone in my car. And if you know me, you know I’m pretty lousy at remembering. Everything I need to remember I keep in Vitalist, and you can’t get to Vitalist if you don’t have internet. There’s something about a chicken and an egg there…
See you soon.
