I'm going to see Spoon with the New Pornographers this Friday at the House of Blues in Dallas. Would anyone else like to go?

...when you're scanning Etsy for fun stuff, to find your illustrations being sold as part of other crafter's wares. I designed the "joy" piece on this card, last year when I worked in scrapbooking product design. I hope someday I can do more of it, because creating things that people love and actually use will always be infinitely more fulfilling than advertising.

Remember this guy? He has some new gems. It's only been since July that we found out about 'helments'. Two other times we've seen this guy write the word, whether it be on boxes (containing helmets) or on tapes (pertaining to footage shot featuring helmets). We always assumed he meant helmet, but had to check the dictionary just to make sure in case 'helment' ...

Me: Put some shorts on. Heather: I don't own any shorts. Nobody is allowed to see my hairy legs but you. Me: ... Heather: And the doctor. Me: ah Heather: ...but I shave for the doctor.

We get hooked to directors, teams, bands, people, places, etc. We give something a try and it connects and every few years the same names pop up and we invest time to hear them out. Eventually these people we admire either die, or stop producing things we like; the latter more often being the case. I bet it is rare that someone creates amazing results ...

Yesterday I arrived at work at 7:15am. On a Thursday. Today is Friday, 2:24pm. I am still here! How did this happen? I don't know! I thought I was on track to finish my end of week deadline show like normal. (By the way, normal is coming in at 6am on Friday mornings and scrambling to finish before having to be finished by ...
