Wincing Through The Night
Heather is asleep. She and I both got tired today and decided to take a nap at 7:30 at night. Stupid, but whatever, we’re on vacation. I woke up at 8:30, left the room and watched the rest of the suns game with Jomo and Mom. I thought Heather woke up too, but didn’t actually check on her till 10:30. She is still asleep. I am left with an unsavory predicament. If I wake her up, she will
1. not be able to sleep through the night
2. be mad at me for letting her sleep
However, if I don’t wake her up, there is the chance - however unlikely - that she will sleep through the night. But most likely she will wake up sometime in the middle of the night, in which case she will
1. not be able to sleep through the night
2. be mad at me for letting her sleep
I guess the only difference is that…I don’t want to wake her up, because I am scared of ushering her wrath.
Heather and I are staying with my parents right now in Phoenix. We flew out of Love Field yesterday with a scheduled flight of 4:50, but goofed and left our house a bit late, around 3:40. We arrived at the gate at 4:55 - but hold on! The flight’s delayed an hour! Whew!
It’s been good being with the family. My dad seems tired and a little out of it, but also totally there. I think he’s just pissed off right now.
He went to bed at 7:30 as well…
—it’s 5 minutes after midnight - I just decided I will wake up Heather and let her make the choice. I will let you know what happens.

Heather
1. I woke up at 1:30am when Josh’s mom came in the room to look for an Ambien tablet for the father-in-law, which for some reason she thought was in a box/suitcase in my closet (??)
2. I was not angry, much to Josh’s surprise!
3. I was able to go back to sleep with the assistance of ear plugs.
4. Just wait until I post about Josh and HIS nap moods.
5. Thanks for the card kudos. They were fun to make.
