okay
Okay….it’s 4:01 in the A.M. and I’m hoping thar Radiohead tickets are about to go on sale….
I’m waiting…let me refresh again
nope
I can buy for Dublin or Manchester if I so please, but I no please

I want Dallas….please…let me refresh again
egh…this sucks…I’m so tired….let me go get a drink of water, then come back and refresh the page…
I now have water…but the page has not changed.
I have been thinking of things to blog lately…I have been considering doing an entry on the Bourne movies. Which ones were good, which ones are over rated, etc
Basically, here’s what I think - Identity is good, but only REALLY good in like two or three places - first, when Bourne grabs the cop’s punch and beats the two cops’ asses without knowing how he’s doing it - just on instinct - that’s awesome.
Then, when he’s in the embassy, and he starts kicking ass, then he grabs a security guard’s walkie talkie and plugs it in his ear, then as people are fleeing the building, running past him (the threat) he nonchalantly grabs a map on the wall and plans his escape. Awesome.

Then near the end he grabs a shotgun, walks out of the farmhouse and shoots a gas can, igniting a blaze that immediately cuts to a stunned Clive Owen with a trained rifle on the house, now unable to see Bourne due to all the smoke. Sweet.
(nope - still no tickets)
Those three parts are what I loved about the first movie. The second and third seem to be based on that idea - they new what was awesome and built on it.
The second film - Supremacy - is my favorite. I think it’s better than Ultimatum because Ultimatum does a lot of the same - been there done that syndrome. All three movies deal with Jason Bourne realizing some flashback near the end and becoming a better person as a result. The first film doesn’t show any flashback until the end - the second and third show flashbacks throughout the films. I think in Supremacy it is done the best, though. He doesn’t flashback to his job in Berlin until someone mentions Berlin. In Ultimatum, he starts flashbacking from the beginning, and it’s like “why weren’t you flashbacking this crap back in the second movie? Why now? Oh right, its a plot device - cool”
Granted, the set pieces and chase scenes and all that crap are top notch in the third movie, but because of the plot device flashback scenes (Jason just HAS to remember another crucial part of himself, a part he wasn’t flashbacking to until just a few minutes ago…) I have to consider The Bourne Supremacy to be my favorite in the current Bourne trilogy.
Oh, and I love the twist in Ultimatum, redoing the phone call between Bourne and Pamela Landy - but at the end of Supremacy Bourne walks around New York like its the middle of Summer - and in Ultimatum it’s like winter. Booooo!
…
still no tickets and it’s 4:22am. I’m bored and tired. This feels like a youth group lockout.
How late do I stay up??
Maybe 5? I don’t know if I can make it that late…
I wonder if any of my friends are up right now, trying to buy tickets as well.
I can’t type worth crap right now…it doesn’t look like it, but I have to go back and respell all the words I’ve been typing. For the next couple of lines, I will refrain from going back at all and you can see how crappy I’m typing…

What do you think will be the first result in google images for bmeake?
Let’s find out together.

No documents!? what a gyp!
(did you know that ‘gyp’ is actually a slang derogatory term for gypsy? Since we don’t really have gypsies in America, can we still use this term? I’m thinking we can)
For instance -

The cats reminded me to go check on tickets about 4:30. No tickets? Back to bed.
Still no tickets though. Maybe they’re being nice to the Americans putting them on sale at 10am CST so we can sleep in… though it’s too late for some.

You see it doesn’t work when you’re ready for it, you have to find that narrow window when you find out about a concert and can make it in time to get the tickets, of course for Radiohead that window is the size of a barbie doll house window. Basically you’re screwed.

Works a lot better when you get a press pass. Hope you get to go, though. You can’t get much of a better show than Thom wailing into the mic, and Johnny wanking against his guitar and little plugbox thing, whatever the hell it is. Wish I could go with ya, Josh.
