SNL legitimizes McCain’s choice for VP
CNN reports that Governor Sarah Palin will appear on this week’s installment of Saturday Night Live.
I’ve watched every show this season.
But not this week. This woman and this campaign should not be given any form of legitimacy. By allowing her to appear alongside her parody, SNL is essentially saying she’s real.
It’s all in good fun, right?
I disagree. It’s a joke and until now SNL was doing a good job of presenting just how asinine a joke it was.
Cowards.

Golly gee, Josh, you betcha. What Senator Moore doesn’t seem to understand – and this is a fundamental difference between him and I – is that the office of the vice president extends beyond not only the executive AND legislative, but into the Ministry of Pop Status as well.

SNL is just creaming their pants that people are actually paying attention to them again, and they’re trying to do as much as possible to hold onto it. Come December, it’s back to no one caring.
