I'm curious. What's your take on the Prop 1 & 2 matter? On one side I hear that it's ludicrous for taxpayers to bear the burden of a state-owned hotel, that may or may not be profitable, in this current economy. One of my favorite lunch places in Uptown, Urbano Paninoteca, is closed. My co-worker, Alana and I stopped by today and there's an eviction notice on the front door about locks being changed, etc. *cry* We ate next door at the Uptown Grill, and asked our waiter what went down - he said they shut down last week, possibly due to being behind on payments.
