We are moving! Our landlord is a douche! We want out! We want to buy a house but on the chance encounter that I find a job outside the Dallas market, we have decided to keep on renting. But not from our current landlord, who thinks it's totally fine to raise the rent over 30%. I say fine, do that. I'm tired ...
Our trip was fun despite the HUGE blisters and backpacks that didn't make it. Click here for all the monument photos you can stand.
Well, not quite.
Last weekend Brian J. from Little Rock came out to stay with us because he and Josh were going to Opening Day (Red Sox v. Rangers). So we cleaned like mad and I finally got Josh to put the Christmas decorations I so nicely packed away in early January up in the attic. You can really tell on the orange one, which is leaning (and yes, i used woodcutting tools!). Then there's my vampire kitty. She gets so into it!
I shot this puppy in the back seat of Amy's car on the way back from the pumpkin patch. He looks all sweet and innocent because he KNOWS HOW TO TURN IT ON. Really though, this dog adores terrorizing the kitties that live with him. One of those cats has a demeanor akin to that of the cat in Bedknobs and Broomsticks. Anyone know what I'm talking ...
Well, today concludes my 25th birthday week. On a whole it was like any other week except I turned a quarter century old, received flowers, cards, checks and a free lunch. The flowers were from Josh, and they're to the point where the petals start doing that curly thing I love.
Today I got my hair cut, and it was one of those "here's a photo, please do ...
